Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Develop holistic design systems, including page layouts, site grids, typography, and colors
  • Develop creative outputs based on responsive design best practices
  • Generate and adapt existing page layouts to support development and perform creative Q&A
  • Generate necessary production graphics to support development and perform creative Q&A
  • Maintain the digital style-guide while adhering to corporate brand guidelines
  • Responsible for asset creation, production, photo retouching and enhancements
  • Implement website accessibility standards
  • Support the Interaction Designer in the development of user interfaces
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner, Interaction Designer, and Developers to develop creative and implementable solutions
Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years design experience, preferably in a digital agency or similar capacity
  • Demonstrated experience with wireframing, webflows and sitemaps
  • Exceptional portfolio that includes strong system design and experience with eCommerce, social platforms, and/or marketplaces
  • Has a strong knowledge of technology and user interface theory
  • Experienced in mobile app design, and familiar with Google Material Design and Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines
  • Solid understanding of interactivity and the Web
  • Strong working knowledge of design and layout applications (Sketch / Invision)
  • Nice to have: Ability to develop animations and/or other motion graphic assets
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
