Job Description

Our approach to product is “hypothesis-driven”. We set a hypothesis about how we could solve for a business, user, or market problem, and as a team, we work together to come up with the right mix of assets and tests to prove our hypothesis, revise it, or scrap it entirely.


As the Interaction Designer, you are responsible for the creative direction and execution of our mobile, and web based applications. You will be able to interpret the needs of our customers, and synthesize that knowledge into interactions that excite and influence our end-users and their behaviors.


Your role will include collaborative efforts with our product managers, designers, and developers across the entire product development lifecycle. More specifically you will be key in developing working prototypes for our research and development objectives. A critical step in helping us to better anticipate the acceptance of our features prior to release.


We encourage individuals to take ownership and believe that good designers need space to create and let their inner genius flow. You must be ready to articulate and defend your design decisions in a structured way. This means you’ll need to be confident and capable of selling your vision and thought process.


  • Apply user-centered design processes, human factors, usability heuristics, and industry best practices to develop world class digital experiences for all screen sizes
  • Collaborate with others to define problems, generate solutions, and formulate design recommendations 
  • Uncover and explor business and customer contexts
  • Participate in customer journey mapping, exploratory design studios, and other collaborative working sessions with team members
  • Develop working prototypes that can be leveraged to conduct moderated and unmoderated user research
  • Participate and solicit feedback from user testing sessions
Job Qualifications


  • 3-5  years of demonstrated Interaction design experience
  • You're a recognized designer on Behance, Dribbble or any other recognized design community
  • Hyper-focused on delivering great customer experiences
  • Experience with responsive web-design
  • Experience working with javascript frameworks: coffeescript, react.js, angular.js and/or vue.js
  • Strong portfolio that demonstrates critical and creative thinking 
  • Demonstrated understanding of interaction design principles and practices
  • Demonstrated understand of ethnography and its role in driving design
  • Demonstrated understanding of information architecture and user flows
  • Demonstrated knowledge and/or certification in Human Computer Interaction (HCI)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (the ability to effectively sell an idea).
  • Ability to manage time wisely across projects and competing priorities
  • Experience working with a cross-functional teams
  • Experience working in Agile development frameworks and/or Lean UX
  • Must Have: Proficiency in Framer, Invision Studio, or any other leading prototyping software
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada
