Job Description

You’re an Information Management professional, with minimum of seven years of experience in an information management environment combined with information management certification/designation.

In addition, you have a university degree in a related field and excellent knowledge of information management-related legislation, regulation, policies, standards and best practices. You are experienced in the planning, implementation, and management of an electronic document and records management system (EDRMS).You are intimately familiar with any Document Managements systems such as Sharepoint, IDRMS, AODOCS, Documentum, or other.

Your analytical and logical thinking style allows you to identify and solve problems readily. You have been described as strategic, proactive, organized, innovative, accountable, solution and service oriented. You are focused on excellence with an emphasis on quality, continuous improvement, learning and safety.

Job Qualifications

Reporting to the Director, Planning and Programs, you would manage an Information Management Program that includes developing and implementing information management policy, procedures, records classification schema, retention & disposition schedules, records storage and disposition procedures as well as information privacy management. You would provide management oversight to our company’s information systems and ensure availability of the services to the user community. You would provide functional and technical advice to divisions/groups on the organization and management of the recorded information while promoting information management initiatives.

The Manager monitors and reports on compliance with information management policies and related instruments throughout the organization as well as manages the human and financial resources assigned to the IM group.
