Job Description

OVERVIEW: The Partner Coordinator. As a key member of the Business Development (BD) team, you will report to the Director, Business Development and provide support through a wide range of activities which will include coordination, execution and support of partner programs and related activities including recruiting, engagement and retention efforts for our partners, coordination of partner and partner prospect communications, marketing activities, budget reporting, managing our BD social media channels & activities, BD collateral, web presence and tools, delivering corporate sponsored events among other ongoing activities. 



  • Carrying out related partner and partner marketing or communications support tasks as required by the Director, Business Development including tracking and reporting metrics
  • Researches, coordinates and executes our BD-related online and field events and related activities (either our own or partner-related), and/or works with marketing when there is a BD component to corporate events
  • Ensure all partner-related campaigns remain brand relevant, within design standards and established templates as created & set out by our Marketing team
  • Assist with managing outside suppliers as required
  • Oversee the integrated BD activity & marketing pipeline to ensure projects are completed on time and on budget and the activity calendar is kept up to date
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external business partners
  • On behalf of BD works with Marketing to research, prepare, develop, edit and arrange production and distribution of print and electronic materials including: newsletters, website content, invitations, e-mails, brochures, reports, and PowerPoint presentations as required
  • Provides partner and partner/company sales support through management of partner lead generation and field marketing activities, proposal assistance, and portal/database management, and ongoing communications.
  • Management BD accounts of marketing operations tools including Hubspot & & responsible for ensuring integrity of our partner database.
  • Management of BD accounts & services profiles in the partner community including Oracle PartnerNetwork & Microsoft PartnerNetwork, Google/AWS portals among others
  • Maintain and develop organisational culture, values and reputation in its markets and with all staff, customers, suppliers, partners and regulatory /official bodies
  • Management of our partner portal, ensuring relevant and up to date content
  • Other duties and projects as assigned by the Director, Business Development
Job Qualifications

QUALIFCATIONS: The position requires specialized knowledge and experience in performing the following:

  • Project and time management skills
  • Planning skills
  • Knowledge of the marketing discipline & it’s components and practices
  • Minimal 2 years of experience in a partner or marketing-related role
  • Understanding/experience with CRM & related marketing tools
  • Understanding/experience with social media/related tools
  • Proficient in use of business software (word processing, PowerPoint, excel, Google calendars, Google Drive, etc.) 



  • Strong analytical skills
  • Excellent organization skills, attention to detail and ability to multi-task/switch gears in a fast-paced environment
  • Excel at relationships
  • Ability to work collaboratively or independently with minimal supervision
  • You are hardworking, positive, dynamic, energetic, enthusiastic, flexible, dedicated, creative, organized and proactive.



  • Some travel as required


EDUCATION: Minimum requirement: undergraduate degree in Marketing or Business other related field from an accredited university.   Work-related experience in partner/channel/alliances or marketing preferred.
