Working with our creative team it will be also be important that you are able to lead them with a creative vision that shapes their designs for the target audiences, type of media that best represents the employeer’s marketing message and achieves our required outcome.

In addition to creativity, you should be capable in developing marketing strategies by understanding studying economic indicators; tracking changes in supply and demand; identifying customers and their current and future needs; and by monitoring the competition. Your overall goal is to increase the company’s market share and maximize revenues in order to thrive against competitors.

The employeer’s Marketing Manager will be required to communicate across international time zones, work within difference cultures, at different levels of experiences and quality standards. It will be important that you are able to work with patience, diligences, persistence and unwavering respect for other people’s methods of operation. It will be equally important that you are able to be firm and resolved in assuring the delivery and maintenance of the employeer’s marketing and creative standards. Your international relationships will be critical for how successful you will be in this role.    

Job Qualifications


The following outlines your overall responsibilities as Marketing Manager. Note your responsibilities will change from time to time to support the growing requirements of the employeer.

As Marketing Manager you will:

  • contribute to the marketing effectiveness of the employeer by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed;
  • provide information, recommend options and courses of action to global creative teams, outsourced marketing partners such as advertising firms, public relations firms, digital agencies and more; following through to implementing directives.
  • work to develop marketing plans and programs for each product, content partner, program and other such offerings of the company to achieve increased market share and drive revenues; while directing promotional support.
  • oversee the implementation of the employeer’s marketing strategy - including all Indian campaigns, events (trade shows, speaking engagements), digital marketing, social media and PR.
  • foster and maintain relations with the employeer’s partners by organizing and developing specific partner- relations programs;
  • provide short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • influence present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future market trends in the education space across emerging markets.
  • maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information as it pertains to the employeer’s partners and competitors operating within the employeer’s target markets.
  • developed and report on financial models to senior management that supports company’s marketing objectives and financial goals. Preparing an annual marketing budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions will be required on a quarterly basis in order to align with publically disclosed targets.
  • complete marketing department operational standards by managing company’s overall marketing vision. This will include, but not limited to scheduling and assigning employees tasks; supporting and governing outsourced partners, collaborating with global team members and following through to execution and post work results.
  • develop and implement the Brand strategy of the company.
  • work closely with the company’s business development teams; enabling them to meet their commercial objectives by providing them with appropriate marketing support, tools, materials and updated presentations.
  • guide the day to day activities of the marketing team.
  • communicate regularly with Canadian and India marketing/PR teams.
  • manage social media presence and direct programs to improve social media reputation and recognition.
  • develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization working with the company’s VP Corporate Communication and IR.
  • undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends

Travel Requirements:

As the company is a global marketplace, the Marketing Manager will be required to travel not only with in Canada and the USA, but also overseas. India is our current market and as the company grows, you will be required to work establishing partnerships, relationships and understandings within each territory.
