Senior Geotechnical Engineer - KEY
What will you be tasked with?
The Senior Geotechnical Engineer is tasked with managing geotechnical investigations and slope stability assessments, developing and maintaining business relationship with clients, preparing proposals for projects for geotechnical services and directing field activities. You will be required to attend project meetings, carry out onsite inspections, analyze data, liaise with multiple stakeholders and coach/mentor junior members of the geotechnical team.

The existing team are strong, but looking for coaching and mentorship from a strong leader.

Many current projects are small providing excellent variety; however, LRL are not opposed to bidding on larger projects if they can hire an individual with the right skill set to ensure they can deliver. They have the relationships and reputation to take on larger scope projects and see this as a longer term objective for the team.
Is this for you?
If you are looking to build and lead a geotechnical engineering function, then yes! You must be a qualified engineer with at least 10 years’ experience in the geotechnical area. You must have experience working with testing, laboratories, clients and be able to manage a project within a set budget. Ideally you will have a post graduate qualification.

You will have gained the respect from clients and built strong relationships to help move the business forward. You will have created a positive work environment, with a team that are all focused on delivering a quality service to clients. You will be successful in executing the day to day tasks of a Senior Geotechnical Engineer.
Senior Geotechnical Engineer in carrying out the following tasks:
· Managing geotechnical investigations and slope stability assessment
· Developing and maintaining business relationships with clients;
· Preparing proposals for projects for geotechnical services;
· Directing field activities, including investigation, monitoring and testing services on construction projects;
· Attending project meetings and carrying out site inspections when senior technical guidance and support is required;
· Carry out field inspection of construction works
· Carrying out analysis of data, including computer analyse
· Liaising with clients, contractors, consultants, municipal staff, and other stakeholders;
· Coaching, mentoring and developing junior and intermediate Geotechnical employees.
A civil engineering degree with 10 year
